IHYA ULUM UD DEEN - BOOK 13: BOOK OF THE PROPERTIES OF EARNING & LIVING

This online reading circle will delve into the topic of Adab of Earning & Living from the magnum opus of the the reviver of Islam - Imam Abu Hamid al-Ghazal - Book 13 of Ihya Ulum ud-Deen (Revival of the Sciences of the Religion). 

The reading circle offers thought provoking ideas on how to re-establish self-sustaining communities of place and people, and to push back against the negative impacts on culture and nature of an overbearing, hegemonic neoliberal capitalism. 

This becomes necessary to consider when looking into a present and a future threatened by social ailments, breakdown of family and communities,  and facing a global climate crisis.
